Well done to Amy Coleman aged 8 for winning our short story and poem competition, Stephanie from MAD JAM and myself had a massive task on our hands picking a winner. Your poem will remain on the home page till we start the season then it will be on display here But don't despair if you didn't win keep writing, some the entries were fantastic but of course, there can only be one winner! Keep your eyes out for our next competition which will be run closer to the start of the 2021 race season.
Stephanie at Mad Jam photography has again kindly offered to do the artwork to frame the winning entry with a montage of your favourite driver and there is free entry to a meeting of your choice but im sure there will be a trophy and some chocolates as well.
And will publish your entry on our website for the world to see.
Thank you for all your entries, the competition has now closed and we have picked our winner. It was tough to judge as there were some great entries and some interesting ones too. But the best design that will not only stand out for years to come also fitted the brief perfectly was entered by Sophie Jones age 15 from Bishops Stortford.
Your voucher for the newly named Pitstop Cafe will be emailed to you and the trophy, signed framed print and family ticket will also be posted out shortly. Don't worry they are not date sensitive and will still be valid when we start racing again.
And as an added bonus one of your slogans is now the strapline on the top of this website.
Below are some snaps of Chris's artwork of the design as it comes together.
