Racing in mud and goo is fun for a while, but getting the cars off the track and the lorry's off the raceway at the end of the day is just a nightmare and costs fortunes. Not to mention the cleaning up afterwards. Also, cancelling meetings lost revenue after spending the money to put on racing in the first place. So we are trying to stop it from happening as much as we can. A huge effort has been put in over the close season to install drainage and water storage. The water collected will be used to dampen the track down in very dry spells to keep dust to a minimum and also used to fill cars with coolant. It's a little known fact that muddy water is a better coolant than the propylene glycol mix found in antifreeze today, it's down to the high alkaline content found in the soil. Tesla is currently using this mix in its ultra-modern cars today.
Who gave Terry the keys?
It was never going to end well was it?
I'm not sure those Longhorns 4x4's are going to move this.
